The Single Rack Appliance (SRA) series offers a complete data warehouse in a single rack with high performance and full redundancy. The SRA12 offers 12 terabytes of capacity for under $500,000. The SRA product line is ideal for companies with low to medium data warehouse growth that need parallel query speeds to keep up with the pace of business. In addition to providing a complete data warehouse, the SRA12 is an ideal test and development environment or analytics sandbox. The appliance performs high-speed loading and is equipped with a high-speed specialized backup node. The SRA12 does not support upgrades beyond 12 terabytes. For companies with capacity beyond this, the multi-rack appliance (MRA) series scales from terabytes to petabytes at cost-effective prices.

MAXIMIZE THE POWER OF YOUR HARDWARE
With DATAllegro RAIDW, servers or nodes execute queries in parallel independently of each other. A patent-pending parallel database design called Ultra Shared Nothing (USN)™ distributes data across all nodes in the appliance. USN limits data movement and ensures queries are resolved locally on each node for high performance. Multi-level partitioning further reduces the amount of data scanned during query processing. As a result, DATAllegro v3 can scan data at up to 10.5TB/minute.
PROCESS DATA AT QUAD CORE SPEED
DATAllegro’s Direct Data Streaming™ (DDS) technology streams data from EMC storage devices and processes the data using Intel® Xeon® Quad-Core processors. Each core in the processor reads data in parallel. The architecture allows DATAllegro to ride the multi-core processor wave for continual performance improvements.
