Founder and CEO

Stuart Frost is a well-respected, high-tech entrepreneur with more than 20 years experience in the technology market. Prior to founding DATAllegro in June of 2003, Stuart led and assisted a number of companies to develop business strategies and raise funding. Stuart is best known for his role as founder and CEO of SELECT Software Tools. Founding SELECT in 1988, he led the company through rapid growth and expansion including a very successful IPO in 1996. After leaving SELECT, Stuart worked with and served on the board of a number of companies assisting them with business and marketing strategy development, fund raising and team building. Over the course of the last twelve years, he has led multiple successful rounds of funding involving VCs, corporate investors, private placements and public offerings in both the US and the UK. Stuart has a degree in Computer Engineering from Nottingham University in England and began his career in 1983 as a programmer and systems analyst.

Co-Founder / EVP, Business Development

Mark Thacker brings over 14 years of channel and operations experience to his role as Executive Vice President of Business Development for DATAllegro. Prior to co-founding DATAllegro, Mark served as Senior Director of Alliances for Cable & Wireless Exodus where he led partnerships & alliances with System Integrators. Prior to Cable & Wireless Exodus, Mark was part of the founding team for a-Services, a Cable & Wireless/Hewlett Packard joint venture company. In his role as Director of Alliances Mark oversaw the company's go-to-market efforts and channel initiatives. Mark also gained executive sales and operational experience at Omnes, a Schlumberger Group company, where he managed the launch of three successful Internet infrastructure products, managing distribution to 30 countries while launching several regional offices in the Far East. Mark holds industry certifications in solution selling and product marketing and is a business studies graduate of Thames Valley University in London.

CTO

Dave Salch has spent more than twenty years spearheading the architecture, development, commercialization and implementation of emerging technologies across a variety of sectors. Dave most recently worked as Chief Technology Officer for 8e6 Technologies where he architected and successfully launched four appliance products to market. In this role he oversaw the management of the technical divisions and transformed the offerings from paper to product. Dave holds a number of technical certifications in data processing and process implementation and has worked at such companies as Logon Data Corporation, Midcom Corporation and Medcom Information Systems in a variety of executive and technical roles.

Mark is a respected data warehouse and business intelligence expert, having spent more than 22 years in the industry in a variety of key roles. Most recently Mark was Vice President and Research Lead at META Group (now Gartner Group) for the Enterprise Analytics Practice. Before Meta, Mark was VP of Professional Services at Accruent and ran the professional and education services groups at Brio Technology (now Hyperion). Mark also worked as Data Warehouse Practice Director at Prism Solutions (now Ascential). Mark has a BS degree in Computer Information Systems from Chapman University and an MBA from the University of California, Irvine.

CFO

Stephen DeSantis has over 20 years of financial management experience in both the private and public sectors. In his role as Chief Financial Officer, he is responsible for the finance, accounting, human resources, and IT departments. He also leads business planning and budgeting, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and securing financing for the company.
Mr. DeSantis acquired his public accounting experience in the mid-80’s with Coopers & Lybrand in Los Angeles. He spent the past 13 years leading venture-backed enterprise software companies as Chief Financial Officer. Most notably was TCI Solutions, an application software company providing software and services to the retail industry. During his tenure, the business grew by 640%, he successfully raised several rounds of venture capital financings, took the company public as a reporting company under regulation D, and sold the business at a premium to Retalix.
He is a certified public accountant, holds a bachelors degree in business, and an MBA from the University of Southern California.

Andrew Mouacdie brings over 24 years of direct and indirect Sales and Sales Management experience to his role as Vice President of Sales for DATAllegro. Most recently, Andrew served as a Director for DynTek, a professional services company focused on building and securing converged networks. Prior to DynTek, Andrew spent 5 plus years at Network Associates in a variety of Sales & Sales Management roles. Andrew also gained valuable experience selling Data and Process Modeling application development tools for a number of Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) companies. Andrew holds a business degree from Rowan College in Glassboro NJ.

General Manager, Europe

Anthony has more than twenty years experience in IT with a focus on Sales and Marketing. Prior to joining DATAllegro he launched and ran the UK operation for Business Process Management vendor Intalio, and spent five years as an independent consultant helping technology vendors improve their sales processes and revenues, along with advising several successful start-ups on business planning and strategy - such as the prestigious UK based Chairman’s Network. Prior experience includes Sales Manager at Select Software Tools, and Product Manager for Texas Instruments, preceded by eight years in traditional application development roles in blue-chip organizations.

Cliff Currie comes to DATAllegro with 12 years of sales and marketing experience. Prior to joining DATAllegro, Cliff was Enterprise Sales and Business Development Director at Akiva, a collaboration software company based in San Diego. His roles included product sales, marketing and strategic planning of products and channels to market. Previous to this position Cliff worked at Oracle in the Technology Group as a Sales and Product Specialist, focusing on new market development and relationship management with key Fortune 500 companies. Cliff has also held the position of US Business Development Manager for Zeus Technology, a web infrastructure software company headquartered in the United Kingdom. Cliff holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida.

Vice President & General Counsel

Greg Williams has been a corporate, securities and intellectual property licensing attorney for over 17 years. Greg has vast legal experience in substantially all aspects of corporate, securities and licensing law, including venture capital, bank financing, contracts including all types of intellectual property licensing matters, public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, counseling Boards, and setting up and administering option plans and other executive compensation plans. Throughout his career, Greg has focused solely on representing start-up technology companies and he has had the pleasure of working with numerous highly successful organizations, including Quest Software, GeoCities, u-Nav Microelectronics, Avamar Technologies, Phase Metrics, Day Software, Senior Systems Technology, Magnecomp, and others. Prior to joining DATAllegro in October 2006, Greg was a corporate partner with Allen Matkins for four years, and prior to that Greg was an associate and then a corporate partner with Brobeck, Phleger and Harrison for approximately 13 years. Greg has always been a “go to” business lawyer providing many successful, high growth start ups and their management and Board’s with appropriate and pragmatic legal counsel. Greg has a Juris Doctorate from the University of Minnesota, Magna Cum Laude, and a Bachelors degree from the University of Minnesota in accounting and political science, Magna Cum Laude.

Jesse has over 20 years of experience in the applications development of Business Intelligence arena, having been responsible for one of the first implementations of a VLDB for the Taco Bell Corporation in the mid-1980s. More recently, Jesse was a Principal Engineer with Hyperion Solutions (Formerly Brio), and was responsible for implementation consulting and sales of enterprise-wide business intelligence and analysis technology to Fortune 500 corporations.
At DATAllegro, Jesse was POC Group Senior Director, focused on proving the value of appliance-based solutions in today's VLDB data warehousing environments.
Today, Jesse is Vice President for DATAllegro’s Product Marketing providing product strategy communications to customers, prospects and analysts.
Jesse holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University.

Julie Bassett has 15 years experience in international marketing for high tech companies. Julie began working with DATAllegro in 2003, helping the company with positioning, defining its value proposition and setting up and running its marketing department. Prior to DATAllegro Julie was owner of Bassett PR & Marketing where she helped small companies and start ups to refine their marketing messages and implement results-oriented marketing programs. Other roles Julie has held include VP of International Marketing for SELECT Software Tools and Marketing Management roles at KnowledgeWare and R&O, Inc.

Matt Peebles has 15 years experience in designing and developing enterprise software solutions. Specializing in Microsoft-based solutions, Matt's expertise includes SQL, post-relational and object database systems. Matt has worked in a variety of industries including medical, financial, pharmaceutical and retail. Prior to joining DATAllegro, Matt most recently led RFID enterprise development for a Fortune 500 company with the goal of enabling real-time inventory tracking systems. Matt has an MIS degree from University of Arizona.
