This position reports directly to the QA Manager and requires a highly motivated and skilled professional to perform a wide range of programming and testing tasks. This position requires the employee to be self-motivated, quick-thinking, and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities with strong emphasis on organization, communication, and technical skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for Sr. QA Engineers to be responsible for the planning, execution, scheduling, and reporting of tests. Build, maintain, and extend extensive automation test suites to drive our powerful data warehousing application. Participate as a team member in testing, analysis, process management to identify and communicate risk factors and improvement areas. Respond to dynamic situations while maintaining a best principals approach to testing. We are an agile development environment so direct communication with developers and project leads is absolutely essential. Engineers must be able to create black, gray, and white box automated tests as required, and help drive continuous improvement in test coverage and test effectiveness.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Senior or lead experience in a QA team preferred
• 5+ years in software QA (Hardware appliance experience a plus)
• Agile testing experience preferred.
• Expertise in code coverage testing (non automation programming experience a plus)
• Proficiency in automated software test development.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux, Windows environments desired
• Strong understanding and experience with Relational database systems such as Oracle, or SQL
• BS in Computer Science or related field experience
